Heavy Duty Cleaner

Holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient use of equipment & chemicals at the location. Maintains direct oversight and cleaning of location/kitchen or other areas. Must be able to adhere to internal procedures of the company. Provides clear and prompt communication as required by the company.

Technical knowledge of the industry and experience in handling various janitorial heavy duty tasks is an asset but not required. Training will be provided. Buffing, scrubbing, stripping of floor, waxing knowledge is an asset but not required. Anyone without machine operation experience must be available to train during the day or night. Must possess the ability to react quickly.

• High dusting
• Vacuuming
• Dusting /wiping
• Safe Handling of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Cleaning and wiping of mirrors, glass and chrome fixtures
• Polishing
• Disposal of Garbage.
• Washroom cleaning
• Light mopping and sweeping
• General janitorial duties

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands & arms, and hear.  Also occasionally required to kneel, crouch or stoop, may on occasion lift or move up to 15Kgs. Walking on wet surfaces may be required.

Noise level is moderate, Personal Protective equipment must be worn when using cleaning chemicals. Non WHIMS products available.
